HEUKING advises MedTech Start-up EVERSION on its Seed Financing Round

A team led by Ariane Neubauer, Partner at HEUKING’s Berlin office, has comprehensively advised EVERSION Technologies GmbH (EVERSION) on its seven-figure seed financing round.

The Konstanz-based company, founded in 2023, was able to convince renowned investors with its innovative solution for reducing musculoskeletal disorders. The Chancenkapitalfonds der Kreissparkasse Biberach leads the round as the lead investor, accompanied by the Berlin Angel Fund and the Angels4Health-investors, as well as an impressive array of business angels and experts from the fields of medicine, technology, and marketing/sales.

The start-up's product is aimed at people with musculoskeletal complaints who often search in vain for solutions to reduce pain. With a sensor insole and an app, EVERSION offers a flexible long-term gait analysis for everyday use. Based on the data, precise causes of pain are identified using a biomechanical 3D anatomical model. These form the basis for manufacturing custom insoles and providing personalized recommendations.

With the seed financing round, the EVERSION team has the necessary support to achieve crucial milestones such as the upcoming market entry. Additionally, EVERSION intends to complete the development of its product, establish production, and obtain approval as a medical device.
