WirtschaftsWoche: Heuking asserts its preeminence in public procurement law
WirtschaftsWoche magazine has recognized law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek as one of Germany’s best law firms in public procurement law. The ranking emphasizes Dr. Ute Jasper and Dr. Martin Schellenberg, the practice group leaders of the Public Sector & Public Procurement department. Both consistently rate first in national and international rankings for public procurement law and are among the most prominent and renowned legal professionals in their field.
“The world is so fast paced now that the federal government, states, and municipal authorities must constantly readjust or reschedule their bid invitations,” said Dr. Ute Jasper in an interview with WirtschaftsWoche. “In light of this, I am especially delighted that our team’s efforts have been recognized.”

To compile the ranking, Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI), on behalf of WirtschaftsWoche, surveyed more than 1,900 lawyers from 156 law firms about their most renowned peers in public procurement, environmental, and construction planning law. The resulting list of lawyers was submitted to a jury of experts who compiled a final ranking. 43 law firms with 61 lawyers were recognized in public procurement law.
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s “Public Sector & Public Procurement” department has been one of the market leaders in public procurement law for years. Its lawyers hold top spots in German and international rankings of legal professionals.
