World Services Group (WSG)’s European Employment & Labor Practice Group Publishes a New A1 Certificate – Working in Other EU Countries A Pan-European-Overview Guide
The WSG European Employment & Labor practice group members recently published a new guide about the A1 certificate that provides a Pan-European-overview on each European country’s statutory requirements on the handling of the A1 certificate as well as minimum pay.
To date, anyone wishing to work in another EU Member State has needed an “A1 certificate” for some time now. When employees travel across borders (posting), there are increased controls whether they carry the required certificate. The problem is that EU law has been transposed differently in the individual Member States and different regulations apply.
In addition to this overview of the transposition of EU law in the individual States, the guide includes tips on how to apply for the certificate, information on the amount of potential fines and gives readers helpful tips on the minimum wage applicable in the individual EU Member States with links to official websites and additional information.
