Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises ORLEN Deutschland GmbH on acquisition of 56 Gas Stations
ORLEN Deutschland GmbH, Elmshorn, a fully-owned subsidiary of Polish mineral oil group PKN ORLEN S.A., Płock, will acquire 56 gas stations from OMV Deutschland GmbH, Burghausen, a fully-owned subsidiary of oil and natural gas corporation OMV AG, Vienna.
The purchase agreement on the gas stations in the states of Thuringia and Saxony was notarized on November 17, 2010. The transaction has been approved by the German Federal Cartel Office on November 30, 2010. The gas stations will be managed by ORLEN Deutschland GmbH under its own brand. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has advised ORLEN for about two years on various transactions, including the acquisition of gas stations from Mainz-based DMRH Mineralölhandel Rhein-Hessen GmbH in Southern Hessia, and the acquisition of gas stations from Roland Tankstellen GmbH, Münster, in North-Rhine Westphalia, both including antitrust proceedings.
