Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek expands in Hamburg - Christian Spintig strengthening the field of Intellectual Property

As of January 1, 2012, Christian Spintig will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Hamburg office as Equity Partner. Spintig had previously been a partner at Eisenführ Speiser, where he has worked since 1995. 

The 48-year-old mainly practices in intellectual property law and has specialized in the areas of trademark law, design and competition law. With regard to trademarks and designs, his work includes all areas from the drafting of IP right and registration strategies to portfolio consulting up to the handling of national, European and international registration proceedings, as well as licensing and infringement proceedings. 

Christian Spintig focuses mainly on clients in the sporting goods, fashion, and food industries.

"We are pleased to expand our competence in competition law in Hamburg with Mr. Spintig. In particular, the focus on trademark and design law is of great significance at the Hamburg courts," said Dr. Lothar Ende, Partner and Office Manager of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Hamburg office. In Hamburg, Spintig will join the IP Team of Dr. Søren Pietzcker.

In April, the Hamburg office had already added a partner, Dr. Peter Christian Schmidt. The Hamburg office now comprises 42 lawyers.
