SeniVita issues participation right - Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises the non-profit company for the second time

In the further expansion of its business, SeniVita Sozial gGmbH intends to issue partici-pation rights of up to EUR 30 million. A team led by Dr. Thorsten Kuthe, Cologne-based partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, legally advised the non-profit company on the issue for the second time after 2011.

SeniVita Sozial gGmbH is part of SeniVita Group and the largest private carrier of facili-ties for senior citizens and the handicapped, children's health care and education in northern Bavaria. The proceeds from the issue will primarily serve the acquisition and construction of additional nursing home facilities.

In May 2011, SeniVita Sozial gGmbH had issued a bond on the German capital market as first non-profit company in order to finance its further expansion. It subsequently re-ceived an award as best issuer of an SME bond in Germany. At the time, the team led by Dr. Thorsten Kuthe and Madeleine Zipperle had also advised the company.
