Successful capital increase – Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises IT service provider amalphi
amalphi AG placed a capital increase of 500,000 Euro. The IT service provider issued a total of 83,331 shares at a price of six Euro each. This capital measure raises the company's total number of issued shares to 1,083,331 units. Dr. Thorsten Kuthe, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Cologne office, and Sarah Winkel provided legal advice to amalphi AG in preparing and carrying out the capital increase. Acon Actienbank AG acted as sponsoring bank.
The funds serve primarily to strengthen and reposition the company. In fiscal 2012, the new management team led by CEO Klaus-Rüdiger Willer intends to return to growth by reorganizing and refocusing the Sales Department. In the scope of this measure, an extensive cost reduction program was initiated, internal processes were optimized and the organization was readjusted towards profitable growth.
amalphi AG, one of the leading IT service providers in Germany, went public on August 18, 2011. Since the IPO, the company's shares have continuously been listed on Deutsche Börse AG's XETRA electronic trading system.
Acon Actienbank AG will continue to act as designated sponsor and will also include the company in its regular research coverage.
