Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek accompanies PANASONIC EUROPE Ltd. on the introduction of M2M technology
Dr. Stephan Witteler and Dr. Ubbo Aßmus, both of the Frankfurt office of commercial law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, are advising Panasonic Europe Ltd. on the introduction and implementation of machine-to-machine (M2M) functionalities in their products. M2M is the automatic transmission of data between different technical devices.
With the introduction, Panasonic is the first large electronics manufacturer that brings its own mobile virtual network (MVN) to the market. The M2M products of Panasonic are able to connect seamlessly with the M2M cloud or can exchange information with Panasonic for the purpose of remote maintenance. Many of the notebooks, projectors or cameras are "IoT“ (“Internet of Things”) capable. Panasonic links private and corporate customers in order to make their personal and working lives more efficient.
