Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises MeinReisering on acquisition of Rosi Reisen

Dr. Michael Sörgel and Dr. Stephan Witteler of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek legally advised Th. Graf & Cie. MeinReisering GmbH group on the takeover of insolvent Rosi Reisen, a travel agency with a long-standing history. As part of the transaction, all of the company's employees were taken over as of November 1, 2015. General Manager Oliver Graf intends to continue the business operations of Rosi Reisen unchanged at the Marl site.

The successful reorganization in the course of insolvency proceedings allows Rosi Reisen to further operate the VfL Bochum soccer team bus until the end of the 2015/16 season. The current fleet of Rosi Reisen will be complemented by vehicles and new vehicles of Th. Graf & Cie in the future.

Th. Graf & Cie. was established in 2010 by the former shareholder of Graf's Reisen, Theodor Graf, and his son Oliver Graf. Following the legal dispute at Herne-based Graf Reisen, on which Th. Graf & Cie was also advised by Heuking under corporate law, it is thus strengthening its presence in the original regional environment. To date, the company had offered bus trips particularly in the Düsseldorf area. It also operates its own travel agencies in Wülfrath and Mettmann.

Rosi Reisen was founded in 1972 in Marl by the Overhoff family. The company specializes in bus charters, large event logistics, leisure travel, group travel, school transport, as well as trade show and shuttle service.
