Wealthcap acquires headquarters of pharmaceutical company in Tübingen with Heuking
A team led by Dr. Sönke Görgens, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised Wealthcap on the acquisition of 89.8 percent of the holding company of the headquarters of a pharmaceutical company specializing in vaccines in Tübingen. The property was sold by MEDEA Real Estate GmbH on behalf of a Swiss family office. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The building comprises 13,000 square meters of office, laboratory, and storage space and was completed in February 2020. It is located on a new campus for innovative companies and research institutions named “Cyber Valley Tübingen.” University of Tübingen, the Robert Koch Institute, a Max Planck Institute, and numerous other research institutions are based there. The property was recently handed over to the tenant, which is renting it on a long-term basis.
