Financing specialist Pfister joins Heuking in Hamburg

Effective March 1, 2020, Sandra Pfister (48) will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Hamburg office as Equity Partner. The financing specialist joins the firm from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where she had been a Partner since 2016. Prior to that, she practiced at Kaye Scholer (now Arnold & Porter), Simmons & Simmons, and Shearman & Sterling.

Sandra Pfister has extensive experience in advising banks, institutional investors, and corporations on innovative and tailor-made German and cross-border syndicated and bilateral corporate and structured finance transactions. This includes acquisition financing with a focus on PE transactions in the SME sector, project financing in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, corporate lending, and real estate financing. Her work also focuses on export credit and general trade financing as well as the restructuring of existing loan financing. In addition to her extensive experience in banking and finance law, she has expertise in international debt and equity capital markets transactions.

Pfister’s experience in Project Finance and Development is regularly positively highlighted in the ranking of Best Lawyers in Germany; she is also rated a “notable practitioner” in Banking in the IFLR1000 guide.
