Heuking advises FairCap on the acquisition of NYCO Flexible Packaging GmbH

Led by Benedikt Raisch, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek legally advised FairCap GmbH on the acquisition of NYCO Flexible Packaging GmbH (NYCO) from Clondalkin Group, a subsidiary of Dutch investment firm Egeria.

NYCO is a leading manufacturer of advanced and sustainable packaging solutions for the food, beverage, household, personal care, and healthcare industries in Europe. The company specializes in the lacquering and coating of plastic films and aluminum foils, as well as the production of die-cut lids, shrink sleeves, and roll stock for every type of application. In recent years, NYCO has successfully developed particularly resource-saving and recyclable films, for which it has received national and international packaging awards.

FairCap wants to further expand the company’s expertise and make the most of its market opportunities. The investor supports NYCO to fully achieve its potential as an independent company and to further develop forward-looking sustainable packaging solutions.
