Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises DRUMET GROUP on German/Polish cross-border merger

Led by Dr. Karsten Kuehne, Corporate Law and Civil Law Notary, the business and commercial law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised Poland based  DRUMET GROUP of companies in the context of a cross-border merger of the German entity Drumet Drahtseile GmbH into its Polish parent company Drumet Liny I Druty sp. z o.o..
 
The purpose of this merger was the restructuring and rationalization of the structure and activities of the merging companies, particularly reduction of the number of group companies and organizational and administrative simplification.
 
DRUMET is a manufacturer and distributor of wires and steel ropes for numerous industry branches, including marine ropes, ropes for elevators, special ropes for cranes and steel ropes for the oil industry. DRUMET was originally founded in 1895, today its products are sold on five continents.
