Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Iris Capital on participation in reBuy reCommerce GmbH
Dr. Jörg aus der Fünten, Partner at the Cologne office of commercial law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, legally advised two fund companies of Iris Capital Management – Iris Capital Fund III FCPR and OP Ventures Growth I FCPR – on the participation taken out in reBuy reCommerce GmbH by means of a combined primary and secondary investment.

The Iris Capital Team was established in Paris in 1986 and since has invested more than EUR 840 million in more than 200 companies. The investment will allow reBuy to further expand its business.
reBuy reCommerce GmbH operates rebuy.de, an Internet buying and selling store. The platform allows users to buy and sell used electronics and media products at fixed prices. The company was formerly known as trade-a-game GmbH, a game exchange store established in Hofheim am Taunus in 2004. In 2009, the product range was expanded and in October of that year, rebuy.de was founded. In July 2011, the company name was changed to reBuy reCommerce GmbH. The new administration and logistics center was opened in Berlin Rudow in the spring of 2012.
