Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised Soennecken eG, a leading marketing, financing and logistics provider in office organization both in B2B and in the end customer business, on the acquisition of Ortloff GmbH.

Ortloff is a well-known store in downtown Cologne for writing culture, paper and leather goods, school and office supplies, as well as office equipment. Businessman Erich Ortloff established the enterprise in 1923. After selling the company to U.S.-based Staples (formerly Corporate Express) at the end of the 90's, the venerable office specialist in Cologne is again under German management. 41 employees were taken over.
