HEUKING welcomes new Salaried Partner to the Düsseldorf office

Effective September 1, 2024, Dr. Timo U. Piller will join HEUKING’s corporate law practice in Düsseldorf as a Salaried Partner, bolstering the teams led by Partners Dr. Guido Hoffmann and Dr. Marc P. Scheunemann. Timo Piller transitions from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he has been a part of the team since 2016, most recently serving as Counsel.

Timo Piller brings extensive experience in corporate law and M&A, with specialized expertise in stock corporation and SE law. His practice focuses on public M&A, joint ventures, and capital market law, including transactions and compliance. He also regularly advises listed companies on general meetings and capital measures, with a particular emphasis on share dividends.

At HEUKING, Timo Piller will enhance the Corporate/M&A practice group, significantly strengthening the firm’s capabilities in stock corporation law, public M&A, annual general meeting advisory, and capital markets law at the Düsseldorf office.

With the addition of Timo Piller, the Düsseldorf office now comprises 46 Equity Partners and 24 Salaried Partners.
