DATAGROUP SE acquires Ulm-based systemzwo GmbH with Heuking
A team led by Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Benedikt Raisch legally advised DATAGROUP SE on the acquisition of IT system house systemzwo GmbH by which DATAGROUP further expands its market presence in the Ulm region. Björn Semjan, founder and general manager of systemzwo GmbH, will continue to lead the business in his role as General Manager. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Following DATAGROUP’s IPO in 2006, systemzwo GmbH is already the 30th acquisition for the Pliezhausen-based IT specialists.
Founded in 2007, systemzwo GmbH is an established IT solution provider in. The company’s nearly 40 employees focus on cloud, security, IT infrastructure, and storage solutions for medium-sized companies in Ulm and the surrounding area. In the past fiscal year, systemzwo generated revenue of just under EUR 13 million.
DATAGROUP is a leading German IT service company with sites throughout Germany. Some 3,500 employees design, implement and operate IT infrastructures and business applications such as SAP. Featuring its CORBOX product, DATAGROUP is a full service provider and offers support for medium-sized and large companies as well as public clients and their IT workplaces worldwide. With the acquisition, DATAGROUP reinforces its CORBOX IT service portfolio. These modular services cover the entire range of corporate IT ranging from data center to service desk. The service modules can be flexibly adapted and combined to meet each customer’s respective requirements.
