Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Alevo Group on the acquisition of fortu PowerCell and fortu Research
A team comprised of members from several offices, led by Dr. Mathias Schröder, Partner at the Munich office of commercial law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised Swiss investor Alevo Group SA on the acquisition of fortu PowerCell GmbH, Dormagen and Karlsruhe, and fortu Research GmbH, Karlsruhe. The acquisition originated from the insolvency of Basler Fortu Holding as part of asset deals.
The acquired companies were part of Fortu Holding, Basle, and specialize in the development of battery systems on the basis of inorganic components.
Alevo Group SA invests in the field of technology, with an emphasis on the participation in joint ventures and the acquisition of holdings in companies, which are developing, producing and marketing batteries and derivatives.
