velia.net Internetdienste GmbH, headquartered in Hanau, was founded in 2000. The company with subsidiaries in the U.S. and Hong Kong offers a wide range of hosting solutions and has data centers in Frankfurt, Miami, and Los Angeles.
 
Core business of OpenIT GmbH, also founded in 2000 and headquartered in Düsseldorf, is the managed hosting of Internet applications for companies and public authorities. The company's offering ranges from the management of corporate websites to outsourcing solutions for the SME sector to the operation of e-commerce platforms for international corporations.
