Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises PREMIUM Equity Partners on sale of Antennentechnik ABB Bad Blankenburg to Huizhou Desay SV Automotive
Funds advised by PREMIUM Equity Partners sold 100 percent of the shares in ANTEBB Holding GmbH, the sole shareholder of Antennentechnik ABB Bad Blankenburg GmbH, to Huizhou Desay SV Automotive Co., Ltd. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised PREMIUM Equity Partners GmbH on the sale with a team led by Hamburg-based Partner Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack. The two companies intend to use the collaboration to increase the pace of innovation and to expand their business in China and Europe. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2019. The parties agreed not to disclose the acquisition price.
Weimar-based Antennentechnik ABB Bad Blankenburg is a highly specialized technology company for intelligent antenna systems. In 2013, the company was acquired by PREMIUM Equity Partners and since then has focused on developing products and customer solutions for autonomous driving and connected cars, particularly in relation to reliable and secure data transmission using high-performance antennas. Smart metering and Industry 4.0 are additional fields of innovation.
Huizhou Desay SV Automotive Co., Ltd., Huizhou, Guandong, China, is a leading automotive electronics supplier whose customers include major Chinese and international OEMs. The company employs some 4,000 people.
