Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised SCHOLPP group on the acquisition of ProTec group. Nuremberg-based ProTec group, established in 1992, employs about 450 and offers high-quality concepts and innovative services as national and international industry service provider in particular in the core business areas of maintenance, equipment and plant relocation as well as building maintenance and interior refurbishment.

SCHOLPP group, headquartered in Stuttgart, is a leading system provider for the relocation and assembly of industrial plants and installations worldwide and for the transport of heavy and sensitive capital equipment. The group employs a staff of about 1200 at 16 German and four international locations.
 
In June 2012, investor Odewald & Compagnie acquired a minority interest of 49% in Scholpp group, while 51% remained with the previous owners.
