Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised funds advised by Triton on the acquisition of BFC Group, a leading global specialist and technology leader in metal clamping profiles for the automotive industry. A team led by Cologne-based partner Dr. Pär Johansson comprehensively supported Triton in this transaction.
BFC Group, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen, is an automotive supplier of metal clamping profiles for vehicle door, trunk, and other body seals. It manufactures all its own machines and tools and operates a network of highly flexible, modular production lines at six sites in Germany, the U.S., Turkey, and China.
The Triton funds invest in small and medium-sized companies based in Europe and support their positive development. They focus on companies in the industry, services, and consumer goods/health care sectors. At present, 36 companies with a total revenue of some EUR 14.2 billion and around 91,000 employees are part of Triton's portfolio.
The team led by Cologne-based partner Dr. Pär Johansson advised Triton in an M&A transaction for the first time.
