Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek With New Partner in Hamburg
Dr. Peter Christian Schmidt strengthens the law firm's corporate practice
As of May 1, 2011, Dr. Peter Christian Schmidt will be added to the Hamburg office of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. Schmidt joins the firm from Watson, Farley & Williams, where he had been a partner in Hamburg since 2006.
In addition to general corporate law counseling, the 46-year-old specializes primarily in supporting M&A transactions of medium-sized companies. His focus is on private equity transactions, particularly in the mid-cap segment.
His clients include private equity and venture capital funds, family offices and investment clubs, as well as strategic investors. In addition, Schmidt represents management teams in buy-outs.

Schmidt will be accompanied by Dr. Julius Wedemeyer, who will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg as Associate.
