India Business Law Journal: Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is “top international law firm for India-related work”
For the seventh consecutive time, trade magazine India Business Law Journal named Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek a “top international law firm for India-related work.”
India Business Law Journal has been publishing an “Intelligence Report” for 13 years now, listing top law firms that have concluded Indian-related transactions in the past twelve months. This year, 600 law firms worldwide were analyzed. With its India Desk, Heuking ranks among the “Regional & specialist firms (worldwide)” and thus among the top national law firms with strong Indian business.
“Owing to numerous business trips to India, we are familiar with the local culture and are in constant contact with Indian lawyers,” said Dr. Martin Imhof, Partner at the law firm and head of the India Desk. “This setup allows us to accompany German businesses in the best possible manner when they are entering the Indian market and to pragmatically offer Indian clients entrepreneurial solutions for the German market.” This is also confirmed by another award from India Business Law Journal: At the beginning of the year, the magazine selected Imhof as one of the elite 100 India-focused legal experts worldwide and included him in the exclusive A-List International.
Most recently, Imhof gained an up-to-date picture of the market opportunities in India and Germany at the Indo-German Business Meetings in Bangalore on July 31, 2019 and in Chennai on August 2, 2019, where he gave a lecture on “Business Opportunities in the Industrial Heartland of Germany: What is in for Indian Companies in the State of North-Rhine Westphalia?” jointly with representatives of NRW.Invest, the German Engineering Federation VDMA, and Fraunhofer Institute.
