DaVita acquires Extracorp AG: Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises shareholders on sale

DV Care GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Stock Exchange listed DaVita Inc., acquired Hamburg-based Extracorp AG at the beginning of November. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

Extracorp manages centers for extracorporeal blood and plasma processing in Germany, primarily focused on providing services to patients with chronic kidney failure. Dr. Peter Christian Schmidt and Dr. Ferenc Krohn, both Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Hamburg, legally advised the shareholders of Extracorp AG on the sale of their shares.

DaVita is a leading provider of kidney care services. The acquisition of Extracorp represents DaVita's initial entry on the European continent.
