Gibraltar-based digibet Ltd., one of the leaders in sports betting and online gaming, owned by Gert Albers, the doyen of bookmakers in Germany, has been contributed into a joint venture:
Led by Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Hamburg office, digibet joined Mid West Consulting DWC LLC, UAE, to form UNITED GAME TECH PLC, Malta ("UGT").
 
The newly established company unites some of the best-known brands in the European betting industry. digibet, Wetten.de, and BANCOBET will be joined by another renowned brand shortly. The market for sports betting and the multiple distribution channels are benefitting from cutting-edge technology, market-leading know-how, forward-looking software and hardware, contents, service, and shop operations.
