Indian Rotex Group Acquires German Valve Manufacturer MAGWEN

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, with a team led by the partner Dr. Martin Imhof of the law firm's Dusseldorf Office, has advised the Indian Rotex Group on the acquisition of a majority shareholding in MAGWEN Valves GmbH and the takeover of an affiliated company thereof.

MAGWEN Group is a German manufacturer of specialty valves and actuators for oil, natural gas and power plants as well as for the environmental and chemical industries, having its premises in Osterweddingen near Madgeburg. The Rotex Group is No.1 Company for manufacturing of Solenoid Valves in India. By acquiring MAGWEN, Rotex has strengthened its position on the European market and has opened new sales markets in Asia and the Middle East for the German manufacturer.
